QUEENSLAND HEALTH HOSPITAL DEPARTMENTS
An increasing number of Queensland Health hospital departments are setup with Medical Objects. A number of the departments are for inbound referrals only, some are for outbound discharge summaries only, and some can provide both services. The following table details whether they are inbound/outbound/or both. To find the departments on the Medical Objects provider lookup, simply search ‘Qhealth’ in the name search.
If you are interested in receiving Discharge Summaries electronically you can download the STS Connection form and return it to the STS team. Details are on the form.
Note – To Receive Discharge Summaries electronically, Medical Objects will need to import your Medicare PKI Site Certificate (Location Certificate) into the download client. Instructions for doing so can be found at this link.
If you are unsure if you already have your PKI certificate installed in the Medical Objects software please call 07 5456 6000 and we can assist in getting it installed. You should have a copy of your PKI CD that was provided by Medicare, as well as the corresponding PIC Passphrase to allow the install to take place.
